Type Design I love it!

As a Graphic Designer I have to master the world of typography. Although it’s not my expertise I really enjoy working with type. You can do really cool stuff.
I did a type book in school here are some pages of it. It was a fun project

Gill Sans one of my favorite fonts. Gill Sans is smooth
The most elegant of the sans-serifs; Gill Sans is pure and simple.

Bodoni, sophisticated, daring.Bodon is known for its famous thin hairlines and contrasting strokes. Very similar to Didot. Perhaps is considered too beautiful for its own good, but if used correcty it will impress any type face that gets in the way.

Baskerville is one of a kind typestyle. No typeface fits into its classificaton. Its a transitional typeface.

Bembo is a Classic type-face. Carries some heritage of calligraphy.
Excellent type-face design for bodies of text . I love bembo its so,,, Classy.

Garamond old style type-face. Claude Garamond is generally credited with establishing the first type foundry. He was the first type designer to create faces, but had little success in his business, he died owning nothing. Eventually his typefaces were used throughout Europe. And now I used it all the time for type!

Franklin Gothic-Transitional of the sans-serifs considered a grotesque sans-serif
Is good for headlines in advertising.

I thought I’d share some type info. Maybe type can be appreciated more this way?
